An opera singer meets with an entrepreneur. The setting is Drakamöllan. The opera singer was Guido Paevatalu, a member of the ensemble of the Royal Copenhagen Opera and today head of his own Operahouse, GuidOpera. The entrepreneur was Ingalill Thorsell. The year was 2006.

Since the start close to 5 000 people have enjoyed yearly opera performances in our amphi theatre every summer, where we present a chamber opera version of one of the classic operas. Last years production was Carmen with a setting made especially for Drakamöllan featuring the very best singers from the Royal Opera in Copenhagen.

Other seasons we offer our own concept of “Private Opera” inviting 50 guests to great music, combined with excellent food in the initmate setting of our dining room.

Our goal is an Opera Festival gathering Opera lovers from around the world to a full week of great music and mixing with our artists in the setting of the special atmosphere of Drakamöllan.
